Olive (Olea europaea) is a kind of small tree in the family Oleaceae, native to the coastal areas of the eastern Mediterranean, Syria and the maritime part of Asia Minor and northern Iran south end of the Caspian Sea. Its fruit, the olive tree is a great importance of agriculture in the Mediterranean as a source of olive oil.

They are delicious in Greece ... Hope this helps!
